The True Girl Jean in Chocolate Milk Selvedge by Naked & Famous is a 12.5oz Japanese selvedge denim made from a distinctive blend of 77% cotton and 23% milk protein fiber derived from casein. The milk protein is processed into fiber through a liquid solution and spinneret extrusion before being spun into yarn and blended with cotton. The brown-toned weft is carefully matched to the color of chocolate milk, subtly visible beneath the indigo surface and becoming more pronounced as the denim fades. This interaction creates depth and warmth that evolves naturally with wear.
